Delays after accident on A1231
There are delays on one of Wearside's busiest roads after an accident this morning.
One lane of the A1231 Sunderland Highway is partially blocked after a two-vehicle collision.
The westbound carriageway is affected near the Washington Galleries A182 roundabout.
