Metro trains delayed due to 'low rail adhesion'
Commuters have seen trains delayed on the Metro system this morning.
The service tweeted that due to low rail adhesion there are delays of 20 minutes between South Shields and St James stations.
Metro tweeted: "Delays of up to 20 mins to trains running between South Shields and St James due to low rail adhesion."
